About the team:

WAF/Bot/API Security is widely used by our customers to secure their application deployments. The team works with other sister teams and PM's to deliver new features.

Job Description

• Drive and lead the design, implementation, and optimizations of security solutions like WAF, API-Sec
• Work with the leadership and product management team to deliver extensible architecture
• Leads by example and mentor others to produce extensible and maintainable code used across products

Responsibilities

• Leverages subject-matter expertise of cross-product features with appropriate stakeholders to drive multiple group's project plans, release plans, and work items
• Writes and learns to create code that is extensible and maintainable
• Begins to leverage a variety of feedback channels to incorporate insights into future designs or solution fixes
• Collaborates with appropriate stakeholders to determine user requirements for a set of features
• You will be involved in all phases of the lifecycle, design, implementation, test, deployment and support

Required Experience/Skills

• University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 15 years of prior relevant experience; or Master's degree with 13 years; or PhD with 12 years of experience.
• Expert level knowledge of data path with strong knowledge of C and C++
• Very deep knowledge of networking protocols
• 6+ years experience working in network security and expert level understanding of all top OWASP attacks

Compensation may vary depending on your location, qualifications including job-related education, training, experience, licensure, and certification, that could result at a level outside of these ranges. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus, and sales incentives depending on the terms of the applicable plan and role as well as individual performance. NYC generally ranges; $222,008-$246,675 CA generally ranges; $231,660-$257,400 All other locations fall under our General State range; $193,050-$214,500 Benefits may vary depending on the nature of your employment with Cloud Software Group and the country where you work.
