We are looking for a talented, passionate Principal Software Engineer to join our DB Connectors team in Warsaw, Poland, and help us build from the ground up. You will be a technology thought leader, evangelize new, cutting-edge technologies, and solve complex problems.

AS A SENIOR PRINCIPAL SOFTWARE ENGINEER IN DB CONNECTORS, YOU WILL :

• Design and implement a highly scalable data replication systems for OLTP databases
• Drive tactical and strategic plans and initiatives for the whole area
• Participate in decision-making processes on technical or business issues
• Collaborate with engineers across teams to help deliver cross-functional initiatives
• Ensure operational readiness of the services and meet the commitments to our customers regarding reliability, availability, and performance

OUR IDEAL PRINCIPAL SOFTWARE ENGINEER WILL HAVE:

• 18+ years of industry experience designing, building, and supporting large-scale systems in production.
• Experience in core stacks of the most popular OLTP databases.
• Expertise and proven record of building complex data replication systems.
• Passionate about improving the overall customer experience. 
• Deep multi-faceted appreciation for building end-to-end customer-facing products.
• Strong CS fundamentals, including proficiency with data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems (fluency in Java preferred).
• Experience working with cross-teams and product managers.
• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related majors.
