TITLE: Principal Software Engineer - Full Stack

DUTIES: DFS Corporate Services LLC seeks Principal Software Engineer - Full Stack in Riverwoods, IL to develop and maintain full stack solutions to fit business needs. Promote a risk-aware culture to ensure efficient and effective risk and compliance management practices by adhering to required standards and processes.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field of study and eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or related occupation: utilizing development methodology, including Agile and CI/CD; programming with technologies such as Python, Java and SQL; utilizing messaging queue platforms such as IBM MQ; building Big Data platforms utilizing Hadoop, Greenplum and related cloud technologies and implementing DataLake; building low latency data products and analytical platforms; designing, developing, and enhancing cloud-based solutions; utilizing various database platforms, including relational, columnar and MPP; and utilizing tools and technologies, including data replication tools such as Attunity. 20% travel required to various and unanticipated DFS Corporate Services LLC office locations and client sites nationally. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies.
