We are looking for a full stack Software Engineer with a data science and ML background. A key aspect of this role will be building prototypes that allow us to validate new products and features with our customers. In this role, you will be working directly with potential customers and C-level stakeholders to validate the product market fit for the prototypes you build.

In this role, you’ll:

• Work with existing customers and prospects to understand their customer engagement vision and the technology gaps that prevent them from realizing it
• Develop a hypothesis on how the Twilio Customer Engagement Platform can close those gaps
• Define experiments and build prototypes to test the validity of the hypotheses and demonstrate those solutions to customers
• Measure the outcomes of the experiments and iterate on the results

• Advanced knowledge of front-end languages including JavaScript, HTML / CSS,and JQuery and frontend frameworks - React, Vue.js, Angular.
• Proficient in back-end languages including Java, C#, Node.js, Python, PHP, Ruby
• Experience conducting exploratory data analysis and developing machine learning models. 
• Experience developing prototypes and testing hypotheses. 
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to draw insights from data and clearly communicate them (verbal/written) to senior leadership.
• Familiar with concepts related to testing and maintaining models in production such as A/B testing, retraining, monitoring model performance.
• Have enterprise exposure and strong customer focus.

• Extensive knowledge of ML frameworks, data structures, data modeling, and software architecture.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with Big Data technologies (e.g Hadoop, Hive, Spark) is a plus
• BS or MS in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field
