Autodesk is evolving its subscription business models and the Offer to Price team is helping ideate, plan, build and run the foundation of the company's $2.5B+ business with an eye on scaling to meet the needs of its growth to $5B and beyond.

To support this vision, we are looking for a strong full stack developer who has built solutions in the cloud (AWS strongly preferred). This is a great time to be a part of the team as we are in the process of building a brand new solution related to Product creation and replication, Pricing Operations and Management and Reporting & Integrations with other systems in the landscape. This is a critical role that will lead the organization with technical expertise in building systems and procedures that meet business stakeholder requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead backend design, development and DevOps functions of scalable, secure & cost-effective customer facing web and software applications in the AWS cloud (Lambda, ECS containers, API Gateway)
  • Proactively work to evaluate and adopt technology solutions to build the APIs of the application
  • Use strong Quality and DevOps practices to build maintainable and extensible solutions. The solutions that you help build are pragmatic and resilient and consider the upstream and downstream process and system impacts. You are strongly invested in Unit Testing
  • Work to meet Autodesk's Built with Forge pillars that encompass Engineering Excellence, Build and Deploy, Operational Excellence, Recoverability & Reliability areas
  • Partner with business stakeholders to understand the use cases that fuel the business and translate them to functional and non-functional requirements
  • Support the products you build in Production
  • Mentor team members and work with team members spread in APAC, EMEA and the US

Minimum Qualifications

  • Strong architectural skills and ability to design scalable, available, resilient and cost-effective applications in the cloud (preferably AWS). The candidate should have the ability to pick out the right tech stack and tools for the problem to be solved
  • Strong technical expertise in building Restful microservices using Node.js with an appropriate data store suited to the problem at hand (should be comfortable with both Relational and NoSQL databases)
  • Good knowledge of API security and data encryption
  • A nice to have is strong technical expertise in building UI using React
  • Strong DevOps and Quality mindset with design and implementation experience in the areas of CI/CD, Observability and Test automation

Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $131,200 and $212,300. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
