Principal Solution Architect, Infrastructure

• Display knowledge covering all domains of infrastructure
• Develop a quick understanding of the various infrastructure domains like compute, storage, disaster recovery, cloud, network, O365, end user computing, tools, etc.
• Identify opportunities to make operations robust, resilient & secure using current tool sets
• Evaluate & bring relevant newer technologies, solution releases, automation opportunities to Hanes Leadership and Operations team
• Create current state architecture and provide roadmap for future state for each of the infrastructure domains
• Create strategy for global infrastructure including on-premise and sourced solutions
• Display quick learning of complex systems infrastructure, drive modernization of infrastructure leading to secure & optimal operations at right cost
• Establish best practices around design
• Establish and run Infrastructure Architecture review board

The Principal Solution Architect, Infrastructure, is a technical leader and part of Global Enterprise Architecture team. This leadership role will drive leading edge modern solutions supporting organizations technology infrastructure. This role holder will be responsible to provide design oversight and best architect infrastructure solutions, collaborating with various infrastructure, security and applications teams.

Works with EA peers (e.g., enterprise, business, information, solutions and security architects) to analyze enterprise business context (business strategy and trends), as well as change requirements in other enterprise architecture viewpoints (such as business, information and solution) to derive the future state technology architecture. This includes defining the requirements, Principals and models that guide technology decisions for the enterprise.

Qualifications

Educational/ Position Requirements:

• Years of Related Professional Experience: 20+ years
• Bachelor's degree is required in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or IT Infrastructure
• Minimum 20 years+ experience in various infrastructure domains like compute, storage, disaster recovery, cloud, network, O365, end user computing, tools, etc.
• Strong analytical & technical skills
• Strong leadership, communication, inter-personal skills
• Ability to drive & navigate large transformations in a time boxed manner
• Solid understanding of product management, agile Principals and development methodologies and capability of supporting agile teams by providing advice and guidance on opportunities, impact and risks, taking account of technical and architectural debt
