We are seeking a Solutions Architect (SA) to support sales efforts in our Channel team. This person plays a critical role in building and sustaining channel partner and global system integrator relationships while driving the adoption of Veracode solutions to surpass our revenue goals. The Solutions Architect works very closely with the sales organization to build long-term business relationships and position Veracode to win new business.

The ideal candidate will have a mix of technical and business savvy, bringing a consultative selling approach, an ability to work cross functionally, and, strong presentation skills. 

What you will be responsible for:

  • Understand the technologies, constraints, and implementation issues associated with application security and cloud security program. Participate in channel partner conference and events.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners and global system integrators.
  • Collaborate with the field Channel team to schedule and deliver sales and technical enablement training to partners. 
  • Increase Partner engagement for our Partner Technical Certification Programs.
  • Develop, review, and provide inputs to technical training content. Execute proactive outreach to critical partner technical resources with the latest technical updates, roadmap items, and content.  
  • Collaborate with sales team to develop and execute strategies to build pipeline and drive revenue through channel partners.
  • Provide pre-sales technical support to channel partners through demonstrations, presentations, and innovation briefings to assist partners to effectively sell and implement Veracode solutions.
  • Provide customer-oriented feedback to internal product development groups to guide the future direction of Veracode solutions 

Required Skills:

  • 8+ years’ experience in the information security or development ops industry
  • Experience with positioning and selling enterprise applications, systems management, and/or business continuity solutions required
  • Application Penetration Assessment Experience desired (URL manipulation, SQL injection, cross-site scripting, back-end authentication, password in memory, session hijacking, buffer overflow, web server configuration, credential management, Clickjacking, etc.);
  • Hands-on Experience with AppScan/Hailstorm, Open source tools, Ounce, Fortify desired
  • Penetration testing, Vulnerability scanning and assessments, Security Architecture, Application Development, Compliance  Knowledge - HIPAA, PCI, ISO/COBIT,FISMA desired
  • SDLC - Integration ,Application Servers, Database Architecture, Network Architecture experience desired
  • Shell scripting & Perl,Java,.NET (C# and ASP, .Net) knowledge desired
  • Strong customer facing and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to uncover business challenges and develop a custom solution to solve those challenges.
  • Pre-sales experience working with large enterprises and ISV’s a plus.
  • Must be willing to travel as needed
