As a Principal Solutions Architect, you will design, develop, and implement SaaS-based applications and solutions that help solve business problems through technology. In addition, you will collaborate with a full-stack delivery team (analysts, developers, testers etc.) to build scalable technology and process solutions. This role requires strong partnership with cross-functional stakeholders and deep systems knowledge in order to effectively plan and deliver scalable solutions across many business processes.
The ideal candidate has a background in sales, marketing, and customer service systems, has proven success in a Salesforce SME, and has the desire to be a thought-leader on a quickly growing team.
This position is a people manager and reports to the Head of Business Technology.
As a Principal Solutions Architect, you will:
- Support your team to administer, architect, and strategize world-class business systems
- Partner with stakeholders across business functions to understand on business problems, gather requirements, and build a technology roadmap
- Consult on and address business problems and drive operational efficiencies by designing elegant processes and technical solutions
- Work with internal business stakeholders to gather requirements to deliver innovative solutions that meet needs with respect to functionality, performance, scalability, reliability and realistic implementation schedules.
- Establish best practices and standard operating procedures that guide our internal teams on how best to leverage our tools
You’ll be a great addition to the team if you have:
- Deep understanding and expertise across all go-to-market business processes
- Demonstrated ability to manage and collaborate with multiple concurrent stakeholders
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and own multiple projects/tasks with high attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience presenting to executive leadership teams
- 8+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce, including strong proficiency with platform skills (SOQL, APEX, Lightning) and best practices for development, design guidelines and governor limits
