We are looking for a Principal Specialist, FP&A to join our team supporting Cabin Products and Military, Safety & Cargo Systems. The FP&A Principal Specialist will be responsible for executing financial analysis, research, budgets, and forecasts to support business plans. As well as developing analysis and projections and conducting small projects. You will also help provide consultation and guidance to functional or operational management on key financial issues and decisions. This will be a Hybrid based role.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support month-end close process, along with supporting the business in forecast development
  • Generate forecasts and analyze trends in sales, finance, operations, supply chain, programs, and other areas of the business for financial and strategic planning purposes
  • Assist with Long Range Planning (LRP) and Annual Operating Planning (AOP) processes
  • Analyze profit-and-loss income statements and prepare reports on findings to make budgeting and cost recommendations to management
  • Conduct small-scale projects and ad hoc analysis
  • Create and post journal entries in SAP and HFM
  • Manage and tie-out HFM loads and data submissions

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of relevant experience OR
  • Advance degree and 3 years of relevant experience OR
  • In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience demonstrating linkage between business transactions and financial statements
  • Experience analyzing Financial Statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement)
  • Working experience with SAP & HFM
  • Strong Excel proficiency (pivot tables, V-lookups, If-Statements, Macros)
  • Power Point knowledge
  • Experience working with large data analysis and consolidation
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees and management
