Principal System Engineering Architect

KBR is looking for a Principal System Engineering Architect to join our team to mature and implement corporate Model Based System Engineering (MBSE) strategy. The individual will also support customers with MBSE governance and implementation. In this role, the individual will be asked to participate in a variety of modeling, simulation, and analysis assignments. Additionally, individual will develop and/or contribute to briefings, documents, point papers, and meetings. Support would include advising, maturing, and tailoring existing MBSE programs (including training and certification) and infrastructure, making recommendations for improvements, coordinating with corporate or customer seniors on implementation, and driving efforts to completion.

Responsibilities include:

• Initiate and spearhead corporate MBSE initiatives
• Mature architecture for descriptive mission and system models
• Enhance internal training programs
• Define and grow synergies across multiple efforts, develop initiatives, and lead implementation
• Support Integration of MBSE tools to enable trade studies using COTS APIs and custom integrations
• Recommending and tracking of mission measures of effectiveness and system technical performance measures
• Make infrastructure/process improvement recommendations
• Support business capture
• Lead corporate Thought Leadership activities and engagements

Minimum Qualifications:

• MS in Engineering, either Systems Engineering or other Engineering discipline
• Experience with modeling, simulation, and analysis with MBSE
• 20 years' experience
• Possible infrequent travel (< 20%)
• INCOSE CSEP Certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with intelligence community and systems
• Knowledge of MBSE and related analysis tools
• Experience with interacting with corporate and customer leadership
• Training experience
• INCOSE OCSMP Level 3
