What you'll achieve
As a Principal Systems Development Engineer, you will design, define and implement complex system requirements for customers and prepare studies and analyses of existing systems. You will work on design and integration of Graphics Processing Units (GPUs) into Dell Enterprise Servers and Systems.
You will:
- Deliver assigned system interfaces with design and process across extended teams
- Prepare documentation for inspection/testing procedures
- Design, develop and implement cost effective methods of testing and troubleshooting systems and equipment
- Prepare test and diagnostic programs, design test fixtures and equipment and complete specifications and procedures for new products

Essential Requirements
- 8+ years of professional Systems development engineering experience with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Deep knowledge of hardware and software interactions, Computer Architecture, and ability to apply this understanding to identify, debug, and resolve issues
- Experience with GPU or Accelerators, AI/ML or HPC workloads, or similar technologies
- Significant experience developing systems using two of three: Windows, Linux, ESXi and ability to test in those environments
- Experience with technical project management, ideally working with vendors or partners to bring technology to market
Desirable Requirements
- Validation and design experience with complex computer systems including scripting and automation development
- Experience with high-speed networking fabrics and remote server administration and operation using iDRAC or BMC (Baseboard Management Controller)
