Principal Organization & Talent Development:

This is a new role with a focus on driving our performance management culture. At Sabre we believe in the power of teams and have modernized our performance management practices to focus on team performance. We are driving a culture based on trust, transparency and feedback. Early results and effort have been great, but there is much remaining to do to take our culture to the next level.

This role requires a balanced perspective and set of skills in talent, OD and development, coupled with a strong capability to communicate and drive change in a systemic manner. This role will work across the full Organization and Talent Development team to ensure all efforts align and are "telling a unified story." The successful candidate for this role will understand change management and human dynamics to ensure clear and compelling communications, change plans and campaigns.

The Organization and Talent Development team is accountable for the full talent spectrum of offerings and strategies at Sabre. Areas of focus include talent management, performance management, learning, leadership development, inclusion and diversity, engagement, change management, career development and other elements. All of these areas work in tandem to shape our culture, set leadership expectations and build the environment that attracts and retains our team members.

Job Requirements

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Organization Development, I/O Psychology or equivalent.


Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience of increasing responsibility and proven track record of designing and delivering Talent Management, Performance Management and OD programs/processes with demonstrated success.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, with a distinct voice and ability to "weave the story" of the initiative or program to explain how it aligns to the broader strategy and company culture.
  • Strong leadership skills, both tactically and strategically.
  • Strong client-focused consulting skills and process facilitation capabilities.
  • Excellent business acumen, project management, critical thinking/analysis, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong team player who can work across organizational boundaries seamlessly to complete required outcomes.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with a variety of talent management processes and systems (such as performance management, succession planning, engagement, etc.).
  • Able to effectively identify needed change and shift gears comfortably.
