This position is for a Master Field Technician in Aftermarket and Service who is under minimal supervision and works more independently. Conducts and/or oversees equipment inspection and repair activities on a regular basis to ensure proper functioning. Responsible for on-site preventative maintenance, routine repair, and calibration after installation. Solves highly complex problems and serves as a resource on varied tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs on-site field service directly to customers regarding installing, updating, operating, maintaining, repairing and removing of equipment to meet customer requirements on highly complex issues
- Supervises Installs, tests, services and repairs complex equipment to conform with company operating specifications and customer requirements.
- Performs on-site preventative maintenance, routine repair, and calibration after installation.
- Conducts and/or oversees equipment inspection and repair activities on a regular basis to ensure proper functioning.
- Conducts and/or oversees the maintenance and analysis of equipment logs to determine equipment repair needs and required repair methods.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 5+ years of Technical Support/Call Center experience
- 5+ years of Customer Facing experience
- 5+ years of customer training experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3+ years' experience in lead type of role
- 3+ years' experience working in a customer support environment
- 3+ years' experience within the IFPS industry
- Clear and concise ability to explain fundamental of use of Det-Tronics product lines to new users
- Experience managing direct reports in the technical service environment
- Extraordinary interpersonal skills and customer focus
- Experience with Salesforce, JDE and other CRM tools
- Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- High attention to detail
- Team oriented and ability to work in a dynamic environment
