Principal, Technology Product Owner

Manages and provides direction to one or more teams of product managers supporting one large system or multiple systems. Requires a comprehensive knowledge of the business/industry. Participates in or leads initiatives to analyze complex business problems to be solved with automated systems, providing enhancements and recommendations as needed. Tailors standard procedures and policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements. Reviews final results and recommendations, providing direction as needed. Manage human capital resources and develops and monitors project plans and budgets. Recruits, directs, motivates and develops staff, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team. Manages one or more business analysis teams. Contributes to the achievement of team objectives. Advanced degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required. 10+ years of experience in systems quality environment, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience required, experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.Participates in or leads initiatives to analyze complex business problems to be solved with automated systems, providing enhancements and recommendations as needed.
