Job Description

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain software solutions for real time communications applications.
• Work on media servers, SIP proxies, and protocols to enhance our products.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to real time communications systems, including audio quality issues
• Design, develop and implement telephony networks with various components like SIP-Proxies, SDP, Media Servers, TURN/STUN servers, Load Balancers etc. to create a complete VoIP architecture.
• You’ll be responsible for building a highly available, fault tolerant and highly scalable platform. We’re looking at millions of calls and thousands of users hosted in a highly stable environment.
• Work with other engineers to build a robust platform implementing stress tests, resiliency components and understanding latency throughout the system. We’re obsessed with high performance networks and systems, and you’ll be responsible for building along with a team of skilled individuals.

• What Makes You Qualified

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience (at least 5 years) in software development, with a focus on real time communications infrastructure.
• Hands on experience with Free switch, Asterisk, or another media server engine.
• Hands on experience with Kamailio or Open SIPS.
• Strong knowledge of VoIP protocols and technologies like SIP, ICE/STUN/TURN, RTP, RTCP.
• Experience with voice quality fundamentals such as MOS, jitter, and RTCP feedback and an understanding of how they impact and measure call quality
• High availability - Needs to know how to build highly available services and infrastructure for communications applications. Ï WebRTC knowledge (required) Ï Cloud technology experience (nice to have) Ï Hands-on coding skills in languages such as C, Java. Ï Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision. Ï Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
