Principle Platform Architect

The Principle Platform Architect is a highly knowledgeable worker with a team responsible for developing IT infrastructure and platform solutions and standards that meet or exceed business performance expectations.

This position will architect, design, develop and deliver solutions to support deployment automation, day-two automation, physical infrastructure, cloud infrastructure, shipboard systems etc. primarily on the Linux platform.
The position is responsible for creating detailed solution designs and documentation that supports the development, implementation and operations of enterprise-class infrastructure used globally across ship and shore locations. This role will support cross-departmental collaboration and internal communications with staff throughout the organization and service providers while promoting a positive work environment that supports consistency and drives efficiencies.

RedHat Linux (RHCA,RHCE), Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration - or similar platform

10+ years experience with RedHat Linux, Infrastructure Architecture, and systems engineering. Physical/Virtual/Cloud

5 + Years of Platform experience with solutions such as OCP, Rancher, Tanzu, etc. running on prem as well as cloud

5+ years using configuration automation tools such as Anisble, Puppet, Chef etc
