Principle Weapon Systems Engineer / Analyst
Job Description
Torch Technologies is seeking experienced candidates to provide military weapon systems analysis support in support of Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) Scientific and Technical Intelligence (S&TI) missions. In this role, candidates must understand military equipment and will provide technical consultation and recommend updates or corrections in technical applications and analysis. Candidates must be familiar with developing and apply advanced methods, theories and research techniques in the investigation and solution of complex and advanced software applications and problems related to adversary weapon systems.
Candidates will use expertise in foreign weapon systems and intelligence community (IC) workflows to lead projects or programs, develop key business relationships, and support development of long-range marketing plans and win strategies within IC markets. The candidate must demonstrate proficiency across a substantial breadth of technology and be adept at leveraging capabilities between a multiplicity of hardware, software, and systems products and applications.
The successful candidate must possess a strong foundation in weapon system analysis and IC knowledge-management systems. Preferred candidates will have experience managing programs and analyst teams in direct support of DIA organizations and have experience with one or more of the following
- Characterization of foreign missile threats
- All-source SA&TI data analysis to include SIGINT
- Analysis of surface-to-air missile (SAM) systems
- Analysis of short-range ballistic missile (SRBM) systems
- Modeling and simulation (M&S) of foreign weapon systems to include TMAP or ITASE
Job Requirements
BS degree or higher in engineering, math, or physics from an accredited university with over 15 plus years of experience. The preferred candidate will have over 15 years leadership experience in one or more of the following areas
- Foreign military systems
- S&TI data analysis
- Foreign Material Exploitation (FME)
- Modeling and Simulation
Position requires that candidate obtain and maintain a Top-Secret with SCI security clearance in order to access classified information systems.
