The role will be based out of our Eden Prairie, MN head office within our hybrid environment that has team members come into the office once or twice a week.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Strategy and Planning

  • Partner with the marketing team to plan and execute direct response campaigns that align with business goals and objectives.
  • Present insights and recommendation to business meetings.

Campaign Development and Execution

  • Oversee creation of compelling print materials including catalogs, postcards, letters.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging across all marketing efforts.
  • Continuously optimize marketing efforts through A/B testing.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to enhance print messages and page content by incorporating more digital messaging and other enhancements.
  • Ensure accurate selections of target audiences for print campaigns through SQL and SAS interfaces.

Budget, Vendor, and Materials Management

  • Develop and manage marketing budgets for print advertising.
  • Manage print vendor relationships to build solid working relationships.
  • Oversee paper and envelope purchases, inventory management, and invoicing and budgeting for print campaigns.

Team Development and Collaboration

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Foster a collaborative environment within the marketing team and across cross-functional teams.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in direct response or print marketing.
  • Proven strong written and verbal communication skills to internal and external stakeholders through emails, meetings, and presentations.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office.
  • Proven experience with project management with a keen eye for detail.
  • Demonstrate the ability to adapt fluidly to change (projects, market, and industry) and juggle multiple projects and timelines.
  • Exhibit the skills to lead a team and drive results.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships.
  • Exposure to managing a budget and delivering on those expectations.
  • Managing and developing a team of direct reports.
  • Basic SQL and/or SAS knowledge.
