  • Support privacy program compliance, including data subject rights requests, data inventory, privacy by design, audits, and help operate and improve the effectiveness of critical privacy compliance processes
  • Work with key business stakeholders to complete Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) for new processing activities, IT changes, projects, and data ingests
  • Assist with developing marketing collateral to tell our privacy story
  • Research and evaluate the applicability and impact of global privacy laws, legislation and regulatory guidance on new business initiatives and processes

You will be a great addition to the team if you have:

  • 4 or more years of substantive legal experience, preferably both in-house and at a law firm, advising business on global privacy and data protection laws, regulations, and standards
  • A JD and active membership in at least one state bar
  • CIPP certification preferred
  • Experience working for a company offering Saas services to business customers a plus
  • Experience supporting audit cycles and processes a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to synthesize and present complex legal ideas simply and understandably to employees at all levels
  • Ability to exercise good judgment in raising issues and when collaborating with others
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, and capable of dealing with and navigating ambiguity
  • Intellectually curious, humble (no task is too big or too small), and—through it all—doesn’t take themselves too seriously
