We’re looking for a Privacy Engineer to join the Privacy Engineering team! As a member of the Privacy Engineering team, you will develop next-generation privacy technologies that impact how we collect, use, and share user data. You’ll be collaborating across the company and touch on all stages of the data lifecycle; from privacy-preserving client-side data collection and model training, to differentially-private data releases, and aggregating/data sharing using secure multi-party computing (SMPC) techniques.

What you’ll do:

• Use techniques like differential privacy and cryptography to develop systems that preserve and improve privacy

• Guide the development of industry leading privacy products and features

• Build privacy-preserving systems such as end-to-end encryption, client-side machine learning and SMPC libraries

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Strong Computer science and Privacy engineering fundamentals

• Able to prioritize duties and work well on your own

• Excellent interpersonal skills with a high attention to detail

Minimum qualifications:

• Experience in one or more of the following areas: software systems at-scale, differential privacy, or SMPC.

• 3+ years of relevant work experience in building privacy-preserving systems, differential privacy or SMPC.

• Experience with C/C++ Or Java Or Python Or R.

Preferred qualifications:

• PhD in Privacy/Cryptography/Statistics/ML is strongly preferred.
