The Data Privacy & Governance team is responsible for implementing and maintaining a world class privacy program, supporting our products, engineering and operations work to deliver a respected and trusted experience to the Autodesk community while maintaining compliance with all applicable privacy and data protection laws.

Position Overview

As a Program Manager for Data Privacy and Governance (DPG), you will be contributing to the development, implementation and maintenance of a key component of our privacy program. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders, including technical teams, often in a matrix environment, across Autodesk to align expectations and garner support for the objectives of our privacy initiatives.

Responsibilities

Program Management

  • Contribute to the governance and oversight for your program area(s)
  • Execute on program maturity roadmap
  • Articulate program improvement proposals
  • Influence other teams to buy into the goals of the project and join the cause
  • Lead cross-functional resources to meet objectives and timelines
  • Communicate status & timelines for cross-functional team and executive understanding
  • Work with various stakeholders to prioritize/influence requirements, process improvements, bug fixes, and enhancements
  • Measure success for your program component(s)

Expertise

  • Keep up with cutting-edge privacy innovations, technologies, approaches, and techniques that can potentially be applied to Autodesk
  • Experience in implementing guidelines & policies and with training & awareness raising sessions
  • Build relationships and act as a evangelizer of Autodesk's privacy principles
  • Stay abreast of privacy regulations worldwide

Project Management

  • Experience with implementation of privacy and data protection projects
  • Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate project risks
  • Communicate status & timelines for cross-functional team and executive understanding
  • Define and measure success metrics

Minimum Qualifications

  • Possess a deep respect and passion for protecting people's data privacy
  • Ability to work independently with limited guidance to create structures and develop operational concepts
  • Knowledge and experience implementing privacy principles in a complex technological ecosystem
  • Knowledge of global data privacy legislations, industry practice and how they impact business operations and product design, could identify the potential impact/risk to business according to external regulations change
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and analytical skills
  • Adaptability and flexibility
  • Outstanding organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5-7 years in a combination of program, project, product management
  • Experience in data security, privacy, governance and compliance
  • Consulting experience a plus
  • Education: Bachelor's degree. Masters a plus

Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $99,500 and $171,600. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
