THE ROLE

Sourcing is a critical function within Private Equity and spearheads all other activities within the firm. The more deals the Sourcing team surfaces, the more optionality Alpine has to choose from the best opportunities and make informed investment decisions. Alpine has built out a world-class sourcing function, which has allowed it to increase the volume of closed deals by 8x since 2015. The Sourcing Manager will lead sourcing team members by enabling them through training and development, setting and managing expectations, being a culture carrier and example of excellence in the office, among other managerial duties.

What you will Do

• Manage 2-4 Sourcing Analysts and Associates
• Have a cadence of weekly check-ins with direct reports
• Develop clear training and development programs for direct reports
• Enable direct reports to build a clear sourcing strategy
• Ensure direct reports are achieving weekly targets
• Become an expert in the Alpine portfolio and the investing theses behind each of our businesses
• Assist in deal flow management from first contact to close

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of direct sourcing or business development experience at a Private Equity firm with a strong previous track record of success
• Experience in or knowledge of sourcing software including Source Scrub, Udu, Deal Cloud, Outreach, and LinkedIn
• You are relationship driven and love building and fostering lasting relationships
• You have a strong organizational skillset
• You are a self starter and don’t need anyone pushing you to get things done
• You have a growth mindset and look at every situation with genuine curiosity
• You have an ability to manage difficulties and transform obstacles into opportunities
