Private Equity Fund Accountant / Controller / CFO

Trinity Park Talent is developing a talent pipeline of fund accounting professionals for future placement with a firm in Dallas, Texas. The next hiring cycle will be in spring 2023 (following tax/audit season). If you have fund accounting experience and may be open to making a change next year, we'd like to start getting to know you now. 

The hiring company partners with private equity, hedge funds, hybrid funds, and other types of alternative asset managers to provide back office solutions.  This is an early stage firm (founded in 2019) with a robust portfolio of clients and a small team that they will be steadily building over the next 3-5 years toward their goal size of ~30 employees.  Because the majority of their clients are private equity funds, they are especially interested in fund accountants with private equity experience, however they value experience with other types of alts as well.

This firm differentiates by providing personalized service and adapting to their clients' needs.  They are very selective about which clients they work with so they can ensure their relationships will be true partnerships (not a transactional, service provider relationship) and they are very selective about who they hire.  While the firm is entrepreneurial by nature, their growth plan is methodical; thus the development of a talent pipeline for future hiring.

The firm is hiring at all levels:  associates, managers, and directors.  The common requirement is fund accounting experience. 

• Associates 
  For someone early in their career who is ready to transition out of public accounting and wishes to gain experience in a specific asset class, such as private equity, or for someone who wants to gain experience across multiple asset classes, this is a great career building move. 
• Managers 
  For mid-level career builders who aspire to be the CFO of their own fund one day, this type of opportunity can offer the breadth of experience and problem solving capabilities that will position them well, and it will also help someone establish a network of investment managers (their clients). 
• Directors
  For someone more accomplished in their career, this company offers the chance to help other funds build their businesses while enjoying more stability than an individual fund where bonuses often fluctuate significantly with performance.
