Private Markets Technology Salesforce Developer

TEAM OVERVIEW

KKR’s Private Markets Technology team is responsible for creating innovative solutions that enhance the CRM system and experience. The team drives initiatives to deliver business value and build out an agile software development processes that will aid in our integrated, automated, and AI initiatives. The team is also responsible for overseeing and support of systems and tools that manage global investment and fundraising pipelines, portfolio company and investor contact data, permissions, and other content in our client-facing portal. This agile team of highly technical and skilled employees sets the standard for engineering excellence through providing a best-in-class digital experience for our clients and team members.

POSITION SUMMARY

KKR is looking to add an experienced Salesforce Developer to its Private Markets Technology team. Leveraging your expert knowledge of CRM system architecture, you'll work hands on in a fast-paced environment to provide solutions and build innovative solutions for the Private Equity investment business, ensure user satisfaction and work to identify opportunities for further growth. You’ll be interacting directly with the business, gathering requirements, building out the solution and promoting your work to production. The role will have exposure to and responsibility over systems and tools that manage investment pipeline data, workflows associated with different phases of investment life cycle, and the content that feeds into several internal applications. This role is highly visible and will come with the opportunity to identify, own, and execute creative product solutions to enable KKR to rapidly scale and enhance its investment operations globally.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Salesforce application configuration including, but not limited to Triggers, Flows and custom Apex development
• Participate in requirements analysis, gap analysis and software specification
• Work closely with business users to respond to, and proactively identify, challenges that can be solved with system and/or process improvements.
• Anticipate bottlenecks, provide support for escalation management, make tradeoffs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints
• Ability to analyze complex business scenarios and recommend solutions to address said scenarios.
• Ability to discuss, present, and document designs and design decisions effectively to varied audiences
• Ability to conduct and run demos on various applications supporting the Private Markets teams
• Work with the necessary team members to deploy your work and communicate with stakeholders

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have minimum of 3-5 years of experience working on the Salesforce platform as an administrator or consultant preferably in the financial service industry
• Proven experience in advanced Apex programming concepts including core design patterns, limits and bulk patterns, efficient and reliable trigger handling, asynchronous operations and effective unit testing
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a similar field with a solid understanding of software programming fundamentals

• Strong technical design skills and an ability to deliver customer driven solutions
• Understanding of data management concepts like MDM, data quality management, data governance
• Strong in object-oriented programming concepts and in-depth knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, Lightning framework (Aura), Javascript, HTML and SOQL
• Web services - SOAP, REST, BULK, and Streaming APIs.
• Report building with native Salesforce reporting, Excel or Word solutions
• Hosting and calling Salesforce or external Web Services for inbound/outbound data sync.
• Business integration with 3rd party tools
• Positive attitude and a willingness to help out wherever necessary
• Capacity to work within complex systems and large data sets
• Experience working collaboratively with multiple groups in a variety of settings and strong communication skills with the ability to listen, articulate positions, and advocate designs
• Proven ability to manage multiple demands and projects in a fast-paced work environment, including ability to prioritize time efficiently and handle heavy workloads without compromising quality and remaining attentive to details
• Outstanding communication (written and verbal), presentation, documentation, and interpersonal skills; detail- oriented
• Ability to quickly adapt to new technologies
• Team-player who enjoys working in a collaborative and collegial environment and willing to pitch-in when needed to help on projects
