Job Description

As a Privileged Access Management Analyst II, you will receive comprehensive training and mentorship to become proficient in managing, monitoring, and enhancing Identity and Access management systems and privileged access controls within our organization. This position works closely with IT, cybersecurity operations and incident response, business units and third parties. Your responsibilities will include safeguarding privileged accounts, managing access rights, and ensuring adherence to security policies and compliance standards. In addition, this position helps with gathering requirements, talking with customers, account provisioning, governing access, SSO, technical integrations and analytics. The ideal candidate is passionate about Identity Management, able to learn quickly, and a self-starter.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Assists team members in all aspects of Identity and Privileged Access Management analysis, requirements definition, development, operation and evaluation.
  • PAM Implementation: Understand Privileged Access Management solutions and related capabilities, including account discovery and onboarding, account lifecycle management and credential rotation.
  • Access Control: Assist in the management of privileged access controls, including role-based access and access review processes.
  • User Provisioning and Deprovisioning: Participate in onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring accurate and timely user account provisioning and deprovisioning. Support IAM Governance, policies and solutions within a highly available production environment.
  • Account Monitoring: Monitor privileged account activities and work with senior analysts to identify and address anomalies and potential security risks.
  • Security Policy Compliance: Follow established security policies & standards and contribute to compliance efforts.
  • Incident Response: Learn to assist in responding to security incidents involving privileged accounts, including investigation and resolution.
  • Access Reviews: Build access review campaigns using our IAM and PAM tools to ensure policy compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of privileged access control processes and procedures.
  • Collaboration: Frequently interact with business units to understand their plans, risk posture and tolerance, and how IAM supports their vision and business obligations with security in mind.


Qualifications:
Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 2 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and up to 2 years' experience; or 6 years' experience in a related field
  • 2 years' experience working in a Privileged Access Management or Identity Access Management environment
  • Experience with Identity and Access tools including SailPoint, CyberArk, BeyondTrust, Microsoft Entra ID, Okta
  • A demonstrated interest in Identity and Access Management and Cybersecurity, and a desire to learn and grow in the field.


Preferred:

  • Certifications: Security+, CIAM, CISSP, CCSP


Other:

  • Basic knowledge of Identity and Access Management concepts and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
  • Effective communication and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and adapt.
