Proactive Technical Alignment Engineer (TAE)
Job Description
The Technical Alignment Engineer plays a vital role in GXA's delivery of IT solutions. The primary role of the Technical Alignment Engineer is to assess, review, establish, align and maintain IT and security best practices, standards, processes, and integrity of assigned clients IT environment.
This includes, but is not limited to: Networks, Servers, Storage Systems, Security, Workstations, Computing, Peripherals, Applications, and customer-facing hosted and cloud environments.
The Technical Alignment Engineer also supports the Service Desk as the highest hands-on technical resource and escalation point. The Technical Alignment Engineer will be the single point of accountability for the stability and maturity of assigned clients' IT environment.
The Technical Alignment Engineer's role is performed on-site at client locations as well as remote. Additionally, projects and other tasks may be assigned.

MUSTS (TECHNICAL)
- Strong Microsoft Azure experience.
- Strong Microsoft 365 experience.
- Strong Microsoft server and domain experience.
- Networking experience.
- Diagnostic skills of technical issues.
- Service awareness of all organization's key IT services for which support is being provided.
- Understanding of support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide IT services.
- Typing skills to ensure quick and accurate entry of service request details.
WANTS
Relevant and current professional IT Certifications, such as:
- Microsoft Azure, 365, Security.
- Cisco CCNA, CCNP.
- ISC2 SSCP, CISSP.
