About the role
We have an exciting 12 month fixed-term contract/secondment opportunity for a Process Analyst within the People (Products) Team at Ocado Logistics. We are expanding and launching new projects/products every day, and for this one, you'll play a pivotal role in defining, documenting, assessing and optimising business processes to seamlessly integrate the needs of our People Management Systems (Oracle, UKG, Staffbase, and others). Working closely with multiple stakeholders across Operations Teams; Planning; Operations and Planning Analytics; People, Recruitment and Training; Payroll; Logistics Project Teams and External Collaborators (Project Management Consultants, System Integrations Team and Solutions Providers), you'll ensure systems and processes align with the organisation's strategic objectives, while maintaining increased productivity. Reporting to the Product Manager, and as a part of the Project Odyssey Team, you will be instrumental in driving efficiency and productivity improvements.
This is a hybrid role that would require some time working at Ocado Logistics head office in Hatfield and Occasional visits to different CFC sites across the UK may be required.
You will be:
- Reviewing and revamping processes within People, Planning, Payroll and Operations teams to harmonise with the new People Management Systems; collaborate with implementation teams to configure the system effectively.
- Generating comprehensive process documentation and training materials, ensuring seamless implementation of new systems and processes.
- Cultivating strong operational knowledge of systems and processes within Ocado Logistics. Become the go-to authority in the new People Management Systems, providing vital support to others.
- Identifying and escalating any impediments or challenges that may arise during the implementation phase; contributing innovative solutions where necessary.
- Implementing precise testing strategies to facilitate the successful integration and adoption of the People Management Systems.
- Playing a pivotal role in ensuring the delivery of anticipated business benefits from the new system.
- Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Promoting and championing the effective utilisation of departmental systems and processes, driving operational efficiency
About you
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Process Mapping or Analysis Experience: Ideally within a logistics function.
- Advanced Understanding of Business Functions: Strong grasp of workflows and processes.
- Exceptional Communication Skills: Both written and verbal communication skills are crucial for effective collaboration.
- Strong Problem-Solving Abilities: An analytical mindset to identify and address complex challenges.
- Commercial Acumen: Attention to detail to ensure seamless integration with a keen eye on business objectives.
- Collaborative Spirit: Ability to work closely with various departments (Stakeholders) in critical operational activities.
- Interpersonal Excellence: Building relationships comes naturally, with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Requirements:
- Graduate Caliber: Either through education or demonstrable experience.
- Proactive Approach: A "can-do" attitude and the ability to self-manage.
- Time Management: Effective organisational skills to manage tasks efficiently.
- Tangible Process Improvement Experience: Ability to showcase your know-how to drive positive change.
- Software Integration Experience: Particularly in incorporating software and systems into a workplace. -not required but a bonus
