RESPONSIBILITIES

What you'll do...

• Managing and directing the UAW workforce in all phases of Construction, Machining, and Tryout of Stamping Dies.
• Prefer candidate to have prior supervision experience with background in Die Machining, Die Construction, Die Tryout and CMM.
• Must be able to demonstrate leadership in One FORD leadership behaviors combined with outstanding interpersonal, team building, and communication skills.
• Ability to work any shift as well as rotating shifts and weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS

You'll have...

• High School Diploma or GED and Journeyman card or 8+ years of die making experience.
• 3-5 years automotive experience stamping preferred.
• Ability to work any shift as well as rotating shifts and weekends
• Microsoft Office knowledge (Word/Excel/Outlook)

Even better, you may have...

• Be familiar with SMIRT and Catia.
• Prior experience managing a unionized work force.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles
• Knowledge of constraint management principles
