Job Description

Albemarle Corporation is seeking a Process Controls Supervisor to support it's Bromine facility in Magnolia, AR. The Process Controls Supervisor will be in charge of all plant process control systems.

Job Responsibilities:

• Champion migration to new Delta V platform at the site.

• Participate in the review and development of PHA’s, CA’s and project planning.

• Oversee software maintenance support contracts.

• Create and administer a running five-year process controls improvement plan.

• Be a technical resource for the process controls engineers.

• Actively interface with other work groups at the site.

• Provide support to operations for PSM documentation and testing of critical safety systems.

• Insure adherence to all IT network security policies.

• Coordinate process control coverage for on call, holidays, vacations, shutdowns and startups.

• Prioritize the workload to ensure the efficient use of the process controls personnel.

• Develop personal growth plans for the process controls engineers.

• Train/mentor process controls engineers.

• Be active in internship program to develop new talent for Albemarle Corporation.

Essential Qualifications:

• BSEE/BSCS or 10 years' experience in pertinent field.

• 10+ years process controls experience.

• 5+ years supervisory experience.

• Understanding of safe work practices; excellent safety history.

• Proficient in both verbal and written communication.

• Leadership skills including setting goals, priorities, and performance evaluations.

• General understanding of standards and best practices.

• Ability to manage multiple process control projects with varied priorities and drive them to closure.
