Process Design Specialist
Job Description
The Professional Practices Group (PPG) within the Audit Services Department is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and enhancing the department's internal audit methodology and reporting around the department's efficiency and production activities. The Audit Services Operations Specialist is responsible for driving enhancements and positive change in how the Department functions and oversees the activities performed by its global staff. The high profile role requires thought leadership in designing new processes/oversight mechanisms, persuasion and communication to influence global Audit Services staff to take action, and organizational skills to lead multiple, concurrent activities.
This role will have visibility with senior management of the Audit Services Department, and requires an individual comfortable interacting with partners at all levels. The successful candidate must have strong organizational and communication skills; be able to foster collaboration, independently identify concerns and develop solutions; and drive agreed upon action items. Key skills include thought leadership, collaboration, communicating, influencing, and project management This position will functionally report to the Audit Manager of PPG (Chicago).

- 8+years experience in the financial services industry and/or internal/external audit
- Project management, resource management, and reporting skills preferred
- Provide evaluative judgment based on analysis of factual information in complicated, unique and dynamic situations
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
- Influential and dynamic change agent
- Strong decision-making skills
- Able to manage through critical issues and realign priorities and deliverables as needed
- Strong analytical, leadership, and organizational skills
