Process Improvement Data Analyst

Position Summary: This position will develop, coordinate, maintain and support quality and process assessment, reporting and improvement activities which include, but are not limited to, the patients seen by medical and gynecological oncology, diagnostic and interventional radiology, surgical oncology and radiation oncology. This position will assist with planning, coordinating, organizing, and documenting aspects of process and quality programs and initiatives. [Work is performed under the general direction of the VP for Quality and Process Improvement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

■        Collects data, analyzes and produces reports and/or graphs and dashboards for quality programs or initiatives as assigned.

■        Works with team to support moderately complex project management and training associated with process and quality improvement initiatives and programs. 

■        Works with team to identify appropriate resources to execute quality initiatives and works within project schedule to ensure timely completion of the program, project or certification.

■        Helps prepare practice, site and provider-level progress reports that include findings. 

■        Understands and evaluates compliance with the specifications of value-based, certification   and quality programs. 

■        Serves as a key participant/resource in Value Based and Clinical Practice and Quality committee meetings 

■        Evaluates and recommends processes and data definitions to improve the quality of data entered into clinical applications. 

■        Interfaces internally with multiple departments and staff members 

■        Respects the dignity and confidentiality of patients. 

■      Maintains a good attendance record and reports on time for work. 

■        Maintains a professional attitude and appearance. 

■      Complies with clinic safety policy and procedures. 

■        Possesses good communication skills that lend to a team-oriented work environment.

■        Attends staff meetings as scheduled.

 ■        Performs all other duties as assigned.

 Qualifications/Experience:

 One year of college or technical school; or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of coding, data analysis and visualization tools are preferred but not required.

Must be proficient in computer applications including word processing, Excel, and Power Point. Additional hours may be required.
