Processing Assistant

How you’ll do it:

As the Processing Assistant, you are responsible to assist the Senior Loan Processors in gathering and organizing information for the loan file. Make timely follow up calls to quickly compile accurate file information.

• Assisting the Senior Processor - Order services needed and as directed by Sr. Processor for file packaging.
• Following up continually on all requested items, and working in an efficient manner.
• Customer service - Working with vendors, AMC’s, title companies, banks, etc. to gather the necessary information for a complete loan file.
• Ensuring accuracy and completeness if loan documentation necessary for loan approval and closing.
• Ordering Appraisals based on mortgage channel.
• Researching the information through various websites.
• Progressing through phase training to advance to Loan Processor as positions open.
• Assisting with other duties as necessary.

What you’ll need to join Cascade:

• 2+ years in an administrative or customer service position.
• Must be computer literate including email, typing, managing multiple monitors, searching the internet, recognizing internet connectivity issues due to remote position, setting up usernames and passwords, working with multiple software at a time (outlook, excel, word, etc.)
• Experience in a high-pressure, fast-paced work environment.
• Knowledge of mortgage or banking practices a plus, but not required.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.
• Excellent listening, organizational, and time management skills, and ability to learn quickly.
• Ability to interpret and make conclusions based on available information.
