Aloft Appraisal provides a new, efficient approach to home valuation. Our proprietary technology combines the power of deep industry expertise, better data, and standardized methodology to generate faster, simpler, and more accurate appraisal reports.
Property appraisal is the cornerstone of the trillion-dollar real estate and mortgage markets, and Aloft is reinventing the industry. Our mission is to redesign and streamline the valuation process, bringing an unprecedented level of professionalism, transparency, and service to the industry. We recently raised our $20M Series A from Fifth Wall and Andreessen Horowitz to expand Aloft nationally.
About the Role
Aloft is seeking processing team members to provide daily support for internal and external stakeholders on order status and updates as well as provide a strategic drive to process orders and continuously improve our workflows. This is a perfect role for someone who takes initiative, is intuitive, and acts resourcefully. The ability to multitask is essential in this position, while also maintaining moving schedules, thinking ahead, and promoting a healthy workplace culture.
This position is located in Seattle, WA and reports to the Head of Operations.
What you'll do:
- Create and maintain appraisal orders within established timelines
- Schedule appraisal inspections directly with clients on behalf of our appraisers
- Interact with our clients and partners via phone as the face and voice of Aloft
- Utilize our proprietary software to monitor the progress of current and outstanding orders
- Partner with our Senior Appraisers during creation and scheduling of orders
- Collaborate with the team to ensure individual and overall team goals are met
- Other duties as assigned while we continue to grow the team and company
What you'll bring:
- 1-2 years of customer service experience with phone, email, and text conversations
- Excitement around working with customers everyday and exceeding their expectations
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize your workflow
- Adaptability to an ever evolving process (we’re a startup and we’re scrappy)
- An open minded attitude with a willingness to learn
- Experience in the real estate market is a plus, but not required
- Bonus: experience working with softwares like AirTable, Total, G-Suite, Slack
