The Position
OneEnergy is seeking a Procurement and Logistics Manager for our utility scale solar construction projects across the United States. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in renewable energy, procurement, operations, logistics, and project management. Established business relationships with vendors of industry related equipment are considered a strong advantage for the position, and preference will be given to candidates with in-depth industry insight and market dynamics in topics such as tariffs, current and future domestic manufacturing capacity, and global supply chain dynamics.
The candidate will be adept at working on highly complex projects while demonstrating nuanced and proactive communication skills. Qualifying candidates will have a demonstrated track record of success in working cohesively across several project support functions including development, engineering, construction, and finance to meet scheduled project completion dates.
Responsibilities:
- Interviewing, and screening potential subcontractors, vendors, and material suppliers per company standards with special attention to safety, value, and quality.
- Leading the pricing solicitation process, facilitating pre-bid meetings, and driving consistency across such approaches.
- Negotiating with vendors, manufacturers, and suppliers to secure advantageous pricing and terms.
- Spearheading creation of a pricing database based on our existing CRM platform.
- Performing analytics on pricing and pricing forecasts, project performance, and other information to inform our strategic planning process.
- Finalizes purchase order details and associated logistics including contractual terms and conditions in partnership with our legal, technical and project management teams.
- Tracking and reporting key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
- Managing product logistics and sharing information in return on vendor performance.
- Overseeing risk management for supply contracts and agreements.
- Coordinating with cross-functional team members to manage project deliveries before and during construction.
- Expanding the company’s relationships, networks and intelligence gathering (including information sources, tools, and resources) with respect to new markets, products, and initiatives.
- Managing vendor qualification process, establishing and maintaining the Approved Vendor List in CRM platform.
- Monitoring long-term supply chain dynamics to strategically direct our purchasing efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field. An advanced degree is preferred.
- 5+ years of proven experience in renewable energy or a related industry.
- Technical expertise with utility scale solar, storage and other related renewable technologies.
- Strong track record of success in launching new initiatives, project management, budgeting, and resource/team management.
- Broad knowledge of renewable energy suppliers, transformers, switchgear, and electrical equipment.
- Deep understanding of and history in building interdependent relationships with business partners.
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of integrity and organizational capacity to manage multiple projects.
- Strong track record of successful collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Self-motivated with proven ability to take ownership, initiative, and accountability.
- Working knowledge with Microsoft Office/365 is a ‘must’, project management, and CRM software such as Salesforce a plus.
- Familiarity with accounting principles beneficial, and experience with associated software, including procurement software highly desired.

OneEnergy’s compensation packages are dependent on an array of factors including, but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, geographic location, and other organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the salary for this role is $90,000-$175,000. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of this range. In addition, we provide generous Paid Time Off (six weeks/year) and an impactful Volunteer Time Off Program.
