Your Role and Responsibilities

• Understanding Tailspend supplier’s profile across all 4 regions (Singapore Taiwan Japan United States)
• Create sourcing projects (cost saving activities based on the tailspend given by the client. The ultimate goal of this role is to create sourcing projects with the end goal of cost savings in mind
• Gathering client requirements and translating them into a roadmap for execution
• Continuous explore the market condition and potential suppliers that are not in registered in client’s existing supplier list
• Gather feedback from the team (buyers) and provide technical solution when required

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 5-7 years working experience in 300mm wafer fabrication in the semiconductor industry
• This role requires the individual to understand the supplier’s capability (goods and services) in the Front End (FE) Category
• Able to analyse supplier’s spend and create sourcing project for buyers to handle.
• Able to identify cost savings opportunities among the Tail spend suppliers. This cost savings opportunities is included but not limited to the introduction of new suppliers. Or consolidation of similar category spend to 1 single supplier
• Able to speak in English. Being able to speak Mandarin and Japanese will be a bonus
• Depending on the need this role might be expanded to a Team Leader’s role. This individual is required to follow up the project status with the buyer
• Able to use excel file for data analysis (pivot table and data validation)
• Able to use SAP and ARIBA
• Able to use PowerBI
