Dawn's Inspire Internship Program offers students a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the dynamic world of the Global Bakery Industry. Dawn Inspire Internship Program interns will benefit from:

• Exposure to various aspects of Indirect and Packaging Strategic Sourcing, including category management, data analytics, market research and RFP execution.
• Opportunities to develop new skills and gain hands-on experience through meaningful projects and assignments.
• Mentorship and Networking opportunities with professionals in the industry.
• This role will be a full-time position, working in a hybrid work format, with a requirement to be in the corporate office in Jackson, MI 3 days per week.

Interns will be required to be onsite at the Corporate Jackson office from May 19 - May 22 for onboarding, and from August 6 - 8 for final presentations. These are mandatory participation dates for the internship program.
What Does It Take to be an Intern at Dawn Foods?
Below are the minimum qualifications for the Dawn Inspire Internship Program.

• Must be a Junior or Senior pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting, with an interest in working in a Supply Chain function in the Consumer Product Goods or Food industry. Current academic status must reflect satisfactory performance in relation to institutional academic standards.
• Strong interest in the industry or field related to the internship.
• Basic knowledge of relevant concepts, principles, and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.
• Adaptability and willingness to embrace feedback and eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.

What Will Set You Apart?

• Understanding and ability to perform analytical tasks using MS Excel, i.e., cost models, pivot tables, able to work with large data sets to complete analysis. Ability to organize data and create presentations using MS PowerPoint.

• Conduct research on assigned topics and present findings to the team.
• Collaborate with team members to brainstorm ideas and contribute to problem-solving efforts.
• Shadow and learn from experienced professionals in your field of interest.
• Actively seek opportunities to learn and develop new skills relevant to your career goals.
• Take initiative to suggest process improvements and contribute innovative ideas.
• Demonstrate the "Dawn Values" of Team Dawn and support our culture throughout the duration of the Internship Program.
• Identified projects that you will be responsible for:
  • Intern will be assigned a project that will teach the basic principles of category management. This will include data collection, market research, and strategy development.

Compensation:
Undergraduate - $25/hr
Graduate - $27/hr
