This role sits at the heart of operational procurement, acting as the key liaison between local stakeholders and global sourcing functions. You will ensure the smooth execution of daily purchasing activities while maintaining strong alignment between manufacturing sites, supply chain, quality, and commercial teams. The position plays a critical role in ensuring material availability, driving service quality, and supporting business continuity across operations. You will also contribute to the implementation of regional and global sourcing initiatives, ensuring consistency and compliance across processes. This is a highly cross-functional environment where agility, communication, and problem-solving are essential. The role offers the opportunity to have a direct impact on operational efficiency and supply reliability in a fast-paced industrial context.
Accountabilities
In this role, you will oversee daily procurement execution activities and act as the primary point of contact for procurement operations within your assigned site or cluster. You will coordinate closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure continuity of supply and compliance with sourcing standards.
- Act as the single point of contact for procurement operations across assigned sites or countries
- Manage daily interactions with factories, supply chain, commercial, quality assurance, and sourcing teams
- Ensure material availability and timely resolution of supply issues, escalating when necessary
- Support the implementation and activation of business continuity plans when required
- Execute sourcing projects and spot-buy or contract purchasing activities aligned with category strategies
- Monitor source-to-pay compliance KPIs and implement corrective actions where needed
- Contribute to the execution of regional and global procurement initiatives
- Previous experience in procurement, supply chain, or operations roles
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across multiple functions
- Problem-solving mindset with ability to act quickly and effectively
- Customer-service orientation and focus on operational excellence
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
- Comfort working in complex and ambiguous environments
- Willingness to learn and continuously improve procurement processes
- Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
