Your Role and Responsibilities

The Operations Buyer and Procurement Agent is the one who acts as an entry point for all Procurement related activities of a client organization. An Operation Buyer and Procurement Agent is responsible for Procurement advisory services full buyer purchase order placement and for providing support for procurement applications and process related help requests. Operation Buyers are aligned by categories and are working to ensure smooth operation of category directives in the day to day business.

• Act as subject matter expert in end to end purchasing processes

• Provide guidance for client specific processes and procedures including the procurement policy and the execution of category strategies

• Provide support in new supplier setups or extensions

• Interface with clients and suppliers on payment issues

• Ensure audit readiness of all purchasing documents

• If questioned provide ‘how do I’ (walkthrough) application or status support

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

What you will bring to the team:

• Apply strong oral and verbal communication skills

• Fluent English language skills. Dutch language knowledge is an advantage.

• Strong team player with direct and indirect project teams

• Strong time management and prioritization skills

• Precision

• Ability to apply knowledge of Business Organization and Processes Work instructions

• Apply skills to ensure high client and stakeholder satisfaction

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Experience with the following are bonus points but not necessary you can learn them at IBM:

• IT skills: Ariba SAP Oracle MS Office Outlook
