Procurement Operations Buyer (Fluent German)

Your Role and Responsibilities

A sneak peek into this role:

• The Procurement Operations Buyer is responsible for providing support for procurement applications process related help requests and for order fulfilment transactions full buyer purchase order placement. Client facing skills and learning procurement systems is a key attribute.

• German language role.

• Occasional client-related travel like for example visiting the client in their home country might be needed

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

What you will bring to the team:

• Fluency in German is required
• Receive help requests from the client and suppliers and provide support in designated language(s)
• Follow call quality standards to conduct call
• Provide ‘how do I’ (walk through) application or status support
• If there is a problem gather all relevant problem information to be included in problem report generation and escalation to the appropriate Level2 contact
• Provide a follow-up call to the client with a status if the problem is not fixed within 48 business hour
• Create a call log for every help request during incoming call or upon email task id monitoring to insure accurate contact information is obtained

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Experience with the following are bonus points but not necessary you can learn them at IBM:

• Knowledge of Data Analysis and quality logs
• Knowledge of Business Organization and Processes Work instructions
• Knowledge of Commodity Strategy
• Business Control Requirements
• Very good communication and client facing skills
