What you're applying for
We're seeking a Procurement Operations Manager (focused on indirect spend) to join our growing team.
You'll help build out a best-in-class procurement organization from the ground up. Reporting directly to the Head of Procurement, you'll develop and transform processes in order to unearth the most effective and efficient solutions for scalable, long-term growth.
The starting base range for this position is between $100K and $135K per year. Base pay is one component of Lemonade's total compensation package, which will also include equity in the form of RSUs, access to healthcare benefits, 401(k) plan with company match, robust PTO, parental leave, and more.
In this role you'll

• Review, triage, and process purchase requests to ensure compliance with company standards and policies
• Help configure and administer procurement tools, including procure-to-pay and contract management solutions
• Develop and report out on key performance indicators to measure and monitor operational success
• Develop standard operating procedures for day-to-day procurement activities (purchase request reviews, PO creation, etc.)
• Comply and champion procurement policies and processes
• Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders by listening, partnering, and educating teams on procurement processes and values
• Produce ad-hoc metric and spend analytics reports using Workday and our procurement intake system
• Complete special procurement projects as they may arise
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams-including IT, Accounts Payable, Finance and Legal-to ensure the procurement process is seamless and easily executed
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, automating processes, and implementing change management activities

What you'll need

• 5+ years experience within an indirect procurement function
• Prior experience with Zip or other similar procurement intake platforms
• Prior experience with Workday's procurement platform
• E xperience implementing and administering procure-to-pay systems and processes in addition to purchase request review and PO issuing
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or Supply Chain Management
• Ability to work across all levels of management
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret information from various sources
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in an office environment
