What can you expect in a “Procurement Partner” role with TaskUs: 

• Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

• Vendor due diligence and management in European countries

• Evaluation of prospective supplies before signing them up to ensure they meet organization needs

• Conduct competitive bidding: Request for Information/Quotation/Proposal (RFI/RFQ/RFP)

• Commercial term negotiation (price, payment terms, etc)

• Evaluation of bid results, cost analysis, and recommendation to management

• Track savings of negotiations and implemented sourcing programs

• Generate reports analyze spending patterns

• Analyze marketplace and major suppliers

• Identify and measure ongoing metrics

• Consolidate and document intellectual capital or all key categories like list of potential suppliers, strategies, key success factors

• Monitor and track delivery status of orders placed

• Ensure that all purchasing activities are conducted in accordance with procurement and TaskUs compliance policies

• Create and implement policies and guidelines for procurement function

• Attend project meetings

• Work closely with other departments within the company

• Contract commercial terms review and negotiation

• Ensure accurate and timely issuance of Purchase Orders and execution of contracts

• Manage the implementation and utilisation of the Contract Management Module and other automated procurement software

• Monitor departmental productivity reports and daily KPI's

• Audit Materials Management and Prime Vendor item templates to ensure contracted items have been loaded accurately to include price, catalog number, unit of measure and vendor information is kept up to date

• Develop and maintain departmental Standard Operating Procedures

• Oversee the procurement process for new site development projects, including the sourcing of construction materials, equipment, and subcontractors.

• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to understand project needs and specifications.

• Develop and manage budgets for procurement activities related to new site development.

• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements throughout the procurement process

Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree

• Managers who are specializing in Purchasing and with strong knowledge of the overall Procurement process

• At least 5 years of experience working in this field is required

• Strong leadership capability, strong negotiation skills, and excellent written and verbal communications skills

• Assertive, with high integrity, team player, and resourceful

• Proven expertise in budgeting, financial modeling, performance analysis, and reporting

• Strong quantitative and analytical skills

• Experience in IT Procurement and Project Management

• Has advanced contract negotiation skills

• Has strong knowledge of the industry
