So, what’s the role all about?
We are seeking an accomplished Procurement Specialist proficient in sourcing, negotiating, and overseeing contracts related to marketing, services, and facility operations. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of procurement strategies, supplier management, and efficient purchasing practices to effectively meet the organization's operational requirements.
How will you make an impact?
- Oversee the entire procurement lifecycle, from requisition to delivery, ensuring timely and efficient procurement of goods and services related to marketing, services, and facilities
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to grasp their needs and provide procurement assistance, including sourcing, managing purchase orders, and evaluating vendor performance
- Maintain meticulous records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier/vendor details, ensuring adherence to company policies and regulations
- Identify and assess potential suppliers/vendors, conduct due diligence, and negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms
- Develop and execute procurement strategies tailored to marketing, services, and facilities, aligning with organizational objectives and budgetary constraints
- Monitor market dynamics, industry trends, and supplier performance to optimize procurement processes and uncover cost-saving opportunities
- Liaise with the legal team to review contracts, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with legal standards throughout the procurement cycle
- Perform regular assessments of suppliers/vendors, conduct performance reviews, and address any issues or conflicts that may arise
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function
- Stay updated on industry best practices, regulations, and innovations in procurement to enhance the organization's procurement capabilities
Have you got what it takes?Â
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master's degree or professional certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) are a plus.
- 5 - 7 years of experience in procurement or purchasing roles, specifically in sourcing marketing, services and facilities-related activities.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers/vendors.
- In-depth knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier/vendor evaluation methodologies.
- Proficiency in using procurement software and tools for sourcing, contract management, and data analysis.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to procurement activities.
