Procurement Tools and Communication Manager

We are looking for a highly motivated Procurement Tools and Communication Manager to join our global Procurement and Operations organization in FLSmidth Cement.

Your responsibilities

• Engage globally with the business to benchmark and align existing processes and systems, identify gaps and implement best practice

• Manage communication within the procurement community to ensure group-wide alignment

• Push for standardization and automatization of processes

• Train and develop the procurement organization

• May ensure high data quality, incl. accuracy, timeliness, availability of data, taxonomy and naming conventions and support organization with own development of easy-to-use templates or tools, e.g. excel and SharePoint solutions that will save time or improve efficiency in the procurement organization

• May feed the procurement organization with a structured and formal Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) framework to ensure optimal way of working with suppliers

• Develop process and tools to support a smooth and efficient sourcing process, and support offshoring of procurement processes

• Promote a culture of personal and team safety, including others who may be affected by the company’s operational activities

Your qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field, e.g. economics

• Minimum 5-8 years of experience from Procurement

• Professional and structured approach, with a flexible and proactive mindset

• Strong stakeholder management- and communication skills in English
