As a Product Advisor II within PNC's Treasury Management - Treasury Solutions Group organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh PA or Charlotte NC or Cincinnati OH or Atlanta GA or Philadelphia PA. This position is primarily based in a PNC location. Responsibilities require time in the office or in the field on a regular basis. Some responsibilities may be performed remotely, at manager’s discretion.
Functioning at the intersection of technical sales and product management, the ability to lead engagements, understand client needs, and identify creative ways to leverage PNC’s Treasury Management Platform is essential.

Job Description

  • Represents one or multiple products as part of the sales process with the objective of closing new business opportunities. Defines solution options in the sales process based on product knowledge and business requirements.
  • Leads internal or external discussions related to the application of one or multiple products to help close deals. Leads direct interaction with clients as part of the sales process and represents PNC in bank-sponsored industry events, as needed.
  • Assesses client's current business situation and related requirements through data gathering, which includes interviews and research.
  • Provides the customer perspective in the design, development and management of new or existing product enhancements.
  • Maintains a thorough understanding of marketplace, competitors and industry trends in order to identify new opportunities. Develops and maintains product marketing and proposal material and provides educational sessions to Sales in conjunction with Product Management.

Solutions Development – Knowledge of and the ability to assess customer needs and provide solutions for them.

Value Selling – Knowledge of the principles and practices for selling products, technology and services; ability to provide overall product/service 'value' and differentiating support offerings that address clearly understood customer needs.

Work Experience

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 5+ years of industry-relevant experience. Specific certifications are often required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
