As a Product Advisor II within PNC's Treasury Solution Group, you will be preferably be based in a flexible remote location within our Southwest markets to include: Texas, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico and or other PNC locations (Excluding Colorado, Hawaii and Alaska). Flexible travel of + or - 30% within the region will be required.

Qualifications:• BA/BS in business, finance or a related area. CTP is a plus. • 5+ yrs of product advisor and or subject matter expert related experience.• Prior exp. within Corp. Finance and/or Treasury Management is a plus.• In depth knowledge of Treasury Management related products is a plus.• Adaptable, ability to ask questions and listen and respond accordingly.• Ability to train and communicate well with Treasury Management sales professionals• Independent and collaborative with strong interpersonal skills• Constant love of learning new products and processes and clients, etc.• Strong project management skills to effectively work in a regional team environment.

Job Description

  • Represents one or multiple products as part of the sales process with the objective of closing new business opportunities. Defines solution options in the sales process based on product knowledge and business requirements.
  • Leads internal or external discussions related to the application of one or multiple products to help close deals. Leads direct interaction with clients as part of the sales process and represents PNC in bank-sponsored industry events, as needed.
  • Assesses client's current business situation and related requirements through data gathering, which includes interviews and research.
  • Provides the customer perspective in the design, development and management of new or existing product enhancements.
  • Maintains a thorough understanding of marketplace, competitors and industry trends in order to identify new opportunities. Develops and maintains product marketing and proposal material and provides educational sessions to Sales in conjunction with Product Management.

Sales Proposals and Presentations - Knowledge of sales processes, tools, and techniques; ability to prepare and present formal recommendations for how the organization can meet the customer's needs.

Sales Scoping and Qualification - Knowledge of and ability to identify and qualify potential sales opportunities for the organization.

Solutions Development - Knowledge of and the ability to assess customer needs and provide solutions for them.

Value Selling - Knowledge of the principles and practices for selling products, technology and services; ability to provide overall product/service 'value' and differentiating support offerings that address clearly understood customer needs.

Work Experience

Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 5+ years of industry-relevant experience. Specific certifications are often required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
