Product Analyst (Hybrid - 3 Days in Office - VA)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a hands-on Product Analyst for a fast paced data driven project within a large program! The candidate will be a savvy and proactive member of the team who will drive the team towards building an end to end digitalized platform with full scale integration with external parties. This person will provide analytical insights related to business/product issues and opportunities to align with the business/product vision. The candidate will also serve as the primary interface between technology and a business product, while working with the business and operations partners to define problems and recommend solutions. The candidate will be a facilitator of requirement sessions with subject matter experts and partners across the company and define business translations, maintain alignment with upstream lineage.

Our Impact:

The MBS Product Delivery team is a fast-paced group of individuals delivering against a 3-year roadmap to modernize the Securitization suite of legacy applications within the Single-Family Portfolio & Servicing (SFPS) line of business.

Your Impact:

• Proactive candidate with good documentation skills (this person will build a backlog)

• Experienced in conducting refinement sessions

• Capable of being self directed at work and capable of performing tasks independently with limited guidance

• Proactive in engaging with the lead to share findings from analysis and working on next steps

• Experienced in collaborating with developers

• Assist the Product Owner to write user stories and edit acceptance criteria

• Engage in production deployments

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with 5+ years or relevant work experience, with advanced studies or degrees being preferred

• Mortgage-Backed Securities (MBS) experience preferred

• Adept at writing user stories and edit acceptance criteria, making sure each story aligns to the feature objective

• Experience with doing analysis for data mapping, creating data lineage, facilitating conversations with current state teams to get details around data

• Experienced in creating and analyzing payloads to make sure they are built in compliance with the specification

• Conduct refinement sessions

• Facilitate/complete review and approval process

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $96,000 - $144,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
