Product Architect

Create end-to-end architecture and high level designs for new security products and features, defining both technical and user aspects of the product; Collaborate with product management to understand and finalize the requirements so that they fit our technology and bring value to our customers; Present the design for review; Define the end to end architecture and the set of functionality required in new or existing systems to realize the requirements, including proof of concept, prototyping, and research as needed; Collaborate with other organizations to realize the non functional needs such as security, services, etc.; Guide the engineering teams as they do the detailed designs and implementation; and Acquire and share subject matter expertise of security products, and contribute to their future vision and technical roadmap. Required Qualification:

Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Telecommunications Engineering, plus four (4) years of experience in the job offered or closely related technical role.

Alternatively, will accept a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Telecommunications Engineering, plus six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or closely related technical role.

Must have four (4) years of experience in the following skills: Enterprise data lake technologies such as Apache, HDFS, or Nessie; Rest APIs; Spring Boot or Spring Security; integration libraries for major ACD systems such as Genesys, Avaya, Amazon Connect, or Cisco; cloud native microservices leveraging Docker or Temporal; data ingestion or presentation layers leveraging Kubernetes, AWS, or MariaDB; and deployments using technologies such as Ansible, GIT, or Terraform.

Compensation:

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary for this position ranges from $194834-$214782/year; a candidate's salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
