Job Description

Newchip Accelerator is looking for a Product Operations Associate to lead and assist product development for our global Accelerator Program, including helping develop the product support for our multiple program offerings, online user experience, and other strategic functions. As such, you will help shape the vision of the program, creating a scalable world-class product strategy that impacts thousands of global startup founders in the Newchip ecosystem. Furthermore, you will oversee the development of our online Accelerator experience with the support of our Director of Product and Product Manager as well as other key program stakeholders.

As a Product Operations Associate you will also be responsible for assisting the development of the Product team. This includes owning strategic targets and KPI's of the Newchip Accelerator product as well as managing and improving the tools and processes used by the Newchip Product and Program teams. This is the perfect role for you if you know how to work in cross-functional teams that are able to get things done fast and right. An effective Product Ops Associate will help drive cross-functional collaboration between departments in order to accelerate feedback loops, analyze data, increase internal efficiencies, and improve feature adoption. Moreover, you have a strong understanding of agile methodologies, product frameworks, project management softwares, and methods of integrating different softwares - and know how and where to apply them productively in a fast-paced startup environment.

  • Manage the software tools and data used by Newchip Product and Program teams
  • Build processes to experiment product improvements and drive product strategy
  • Build systems to collect and analyze feedback from stakeholders - including startup founders, mentors, investors, etc. - to shape requirements, features, curriculum content, and product experience
  • Create feedback/data dashboards for data visualization so that relevant program owners can make informed decisions on improvements
  • Manage systems used within the Product/Program division, including the CRM (Hubspot), internal trackers (Monday.com), and the Newchip platform (Wordpress)
  • Specifically communicate and work closely with the Program teams, the Revenue Operations team, and the Data & Engineering team to determine functional/data needs to improve operational efficiency
  • Assist the Product team to work cross-functionally while helping oversee product analysis, product strategy, and business analysis functions within the team
  • Drive elicitation of requirements using best analytical practices that may include user interviews, behavioral studies, user surveys, data analysis, and standard modeling techniques
  • Make creative recommendations to expand the core product base and broader company vision
  • Provide management with in-depth reports (i.e. weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual) on product performance, program success, underlying problems, and potential optimizations

Requirements

  • Engineering/data analytics/product background with 1+ years of experience
  • Experience working with multiple systems and implementing integrations between systems (API, Zapier, automations/integrations, etc.)
  • Experience working with a CRM (Newchip uses Hubspot, so responsibilities include managing and auditing data, workflows, reports, dashboards, etc)
  • Preferred experience with Hubspot, Monday.com, & Wordpress
  • Intermediate Excel knowledge and experience
  • Ability to learn and problem-solve quickly and independently with minimal supervision

Benefits

  • Be a part of a global team with a hybrid in-office and remote culture with a headquarters in East Austin, Texas.
  • Industry leader in compensation packages including base plus performance incentives, equity, and company stock.
  • Fully covered benefits that include medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurances; plus a 401K program.
  • Unlimited PTO if key metrics are being met including Holidays, Sick Days, and Election Day.
  • Access to all our certified accelerator programs if you launch a startup during your career here (valued at $1M+)
  • ClassPass membership gives you worldwide access to thousands of top-rated gyms, fitness studios, salons, and spas.
  • Weekly catered lunch on Fridays, food trucks on-site on Thursdays, as well as unlimited snacks and Starbucks coffee.
  • The 1st Monday of each month, we cater the whole day: a breakfast taco bar, BBQ lunch, and top performer dinner.
  • Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a revolutionary space working with thousands of startups across the globe!
