We are currently seeking a ProductBusiness Analystto join our growing team! Due tothe unprecedented situation of COVID-19, MDLIVE has decided to protect ourcurrent and futureemployees by managing our business remotely. This is inclusive of interviewing, onboarding, and each role day-to-day.
The Product Business Analyst will team with world-class professionals to define, develop and test strategies that directly impact the bottom line. And you will do it all in a collaborative environment that values your insight, encourages you to take on new responsibility, promotes continuous learning, and rewards innovation.
We're looking for an agile-minded, self-driven technologist to work with our Product team. To fit in, you have to be jazzed about delivering amazingly simple experiences that make life easier for our customers. You'll also need to be equally comfortable talking to techies in our engineering teams as you are communicating with other business teams like our call centers, marketing and clinical teams.
What you'll do?
This team member will build strong working relationships with data engineers, data scientists, operations, product managers, and account managers to ensure that the right information is available and accessible to build product strategy. You will work with our engineering, design, and clinical teams to clearly lay out the product requirements. Use customer insights, market trends, business initiatives, and data analyses to define priorities and timelines. Conduct hands-on troubleshooting and ensure timely resolution of issues for our customers. Solicit ideas and feedback, gather requirements, write product specs and workflows, and coordinate cross-functionally.You will also:
- Research market and business needs, and translate into prioritized feature sets
- Write Business Requirement Documents
- Create high-level user stories or Epics, to describe work that needs to be done within a release
- Collaborate with the design team to optimize workflow and user experience
- Prioritize requirements and create conceptual prototypes and mock-ups
- Ensures system design fits the needs of the end-users
- Functions as the liaison between business users and IT.
- Assist with testing
- Participate in Sprint Planning and Reviews
- Provide content and education in support of new releases
- Assist Product team in creating & prioritizing a backlog of requirements.
What skills and experience do you bring?
- Bachelor's Degree Required.
- 3-5 years of work experience in healthcare industry or software company required; prior software development or Business Analyst experience preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office applications; Jira and Balsamiq experience a plus
- Ability to prioritize effectively, work independently, and drive results
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable speaking with customers and internal users
- Knowledge of SCRUM and Agile principles required
- Strong follow-up and follow through skills with the ability to multitask on various projects with attention to detail and accuracy, while effectively focusing on priority issues.
- Team player. A positive attitude and flexible approach demonstrating the ability to work well within and across internal teams.
- Ability to create and maintain Business Requirement Documents BRDs and Functional Requirements Documents
- Ability to perform Gap Analysis utilizing analytical skills to identify and remedy problems
- Ability to work in a team environment and lead others if needed
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- A strong sense of urgency
- Detail oriented
