What we need:

Mohawk is looking for a Product Circularity Director who can do more with Mohawk. This position will work directly with our Flooring North America (FNA) division in creating and leading sustainability programs.

This position will champion Mohawk as a leader of sustainability initiatives with a specific focus on product circularity. The ideal candidate will innovate, plan, and facilitate company-wide sustainability efforts in coordination with our corporate strategic goals. Over time, this role will create and implement a holistic sustainability product circularity framework that will embed sustainability further into Mohawk culture and every corporate functional area.

What you'll do:

• Evaluate current product circularity priorities and build sustainability strategies and programs for operations that increase ROI and customer reputation
• Conduct research and benchmarking for key trends and translate those findings into best company practices and goals
• Identify inefficiencies or areas where Mohawk can improve and partner with other departments to create sustainable solutions and practices
• Engage stakeholders by initiating and forming relationships with key suppliers, thought leaders, and critical non-governmental organizations within the sustainability community
• Design training and educational materials that can be distributed internally and externally to facilitate Mohawk's sustainability brand
• Manage a team of Sustainability Specialists focused on FNA divisions

What you have:

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline required, master's preferred
• 10+ years' experience with a focus on product circularity
• A passion for making the planet a better place

What you're good at:

• Demonstrated effective and/or persuasive verbal and written communication skills with the intent of providing information to clients, vendors, senior management, and staff
• Demonstrated knowledge of sustainability principles, implementation, and strategic planning process
• Demonstrated project management experience in organizing, planning, and executing large-scale projects from conception through implementation
• Demonstrated experience in effectively managing program budgets and in effectively allocating budget resources to maximize impact
